Samples from new unreleased FROM.UZ album are available!
FROM.UZ and IOSIS Studio present to you promo audio samples from the upcoming release: Quartus Artifactus. There are 3 tracks – Harry Heller Theater, Stone Salad and Influence of Time. These tracks are new more acoustic versions of previously released progressive rock compositions.

Fromuzband.com is pleased to announce a soon release of a FROM.UZ. “Inside Seventh Story” is the seventh project of leader of FROM.UZ band Vitaly Popeloff. It will be a conceptual DVD that was recorded and shot during FROM.UZ’s live performance at the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan, including compositions from the last group’s album and elements of dramatic art.

FROM.UZ, Iosis Studio and Ilkhom Theater announce the “FROM.UZ Anthology” live show. This performance is a kind of “The Best of FROM.UZ” alive, which completely reveal the world of FROM.UZ music to listeners. Compositions from “Audio Diplomacy”, “Overlook” and “Seventh Story” progressive rock albums are included in concert program. This amazing music event will happen on January 30th at the Ilkhom Theatre.
Acoustic performance “Acoulogy” at the Ilkhom Theater.
This gig took place on the 23 of June 2009. “Acuology” is a kind of acoustic anthology of FROM.UZ creativity, another unusual way to play progressive music for FROM.UZ. Musicians used uncommon instruments like flute or fretless bass in this concert. This informal decision helped to make sharp progressive fusion music lighter and more delicate.
“The acoustic version might be an illustration through the music idea,”- said Vitaly Popeloff about this conception.

FROM.UZ confirms that group is working on their new album.
Release of the second album is planned on February, 2008. Vitaly Popeloff, guitarist of FROM.UZ band told that he had already recorded the parts of guitars at home studio. Now Albert Khalmurzaev and Andrew Mara-Novik are working on bass and keys sections in studio of The Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan. Preliminary title of new album is “Overlook”.
FROM.UZ at Baja Prog Festival in Mexico.
FROM.UZ performed at Baja Prog Festival in Mexico on March 21. Band became one of the great and most pleasant surprises of this large-scale outdoor progressive rock music concert. FROM.UZ presented own vision of progressive rock with nicely textured guitar riffs and oriental influences. The majority of songs was from the first “Audio Diplomacy” album that was released by 10T Records and Iosis Studio.

This event will take place on 29 of January at the Ilkhom Theatre. Guitarist of FROM.UZ will tell you about his creativity, his unique way of playing guitar and about musical equipment, which he usually uses. This clinic will be interesting not only for musicians, but also for amateurs – progressive or guitar music fans.
